The Logistics/Operations Specialist is responsible for coordinating the safety, service, and other miscellaneous activities to ensure the Organization's facility operates at an optimal level.

Responsibilities of Logistics/Operations Specialist:

• Warehouse experience is a must
• Ensure that facilities problems are identified and repaired quickly
• Establish, implement, maintain, and audit safety protocols for Emergency Action Plan, LOTO, IIPP, Annual Fire Safety, First Aid Training, and Bi-Annual Forklift Training
• Acquire quotes for new or replacement tools, maintenance programs, infrastructure needs such as for security systems, alarms, HVAC, etc.
• Assist Quality with the administration of calibration and preventative maintenance program as needed.
• Acquire quotes for new or replacement tools, maintenance programs, infrastructure needs including but not limited to security systems, alarms, HVAC
• Support the IT team with technology needs such as, but not limited to, troubleshooting and repair; spec and acquire computers, printers, and replacement hardware; auditing and maintaining server/APC, networking hardware, and more
• Perform Shipping, receiving and Warehouse transactions in support of the business, including inventory control.
• Assist in the coordination of special events such as holiday luncheons
• Work together with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements of Logistics/Operations Specialist:

• High School diploma or GED
• 3+ years' experience working with vendors and building management
• Experience with ERP, MRP or logistics software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to multitask
• Ability to lift/move up to 25lbs regularly
