Mechanical Engineer

No Visa Sponsorships or Transfers

• Working in 3D design software—experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks is a plus; 2D design skills are also valuable.
• Possess a strong understanding of industry compliance standards and mechanical design principles, including processes such as cutting, machining, welding, forming, and casting.
• Be knowledgeable in structural and mechanical joining methods (bolted, pinned, welded).
• Be experienced in creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) both on drawings and within an ERP system.
• Be familiar with engineering change processes and structured document releases (e.g., ECNs).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.

Mechanical Engineer Job Responsibilities:

• Create and refine mechanical designs for systems and components.
• Analyze mechanical and structural elements, including machinery, motors, gearboxes, and enclosures.
• Evaluate design tolerances and determine appropriate fit classes.
• Produce and annotate detailed engineering drawings.
• Apply welding standards (e.g., AWS D14.1 or D1.1) and manufacturing tolerances.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and peers.
• Perform and verify engineering calculations and design analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and contribute to design documentation and reporting.
