Job Description

Trustpoint.One is pleased to be partnering with a Boston boutique firm in their search for a mid-level employment attorney to work with them on a direct hire, hybrid basis. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, located in Boston and meet the following requirements:

  • At least three years of prior employment law experience.
  • Strong academic credentials and previous law firm experience are required.
  • Experience assisting with or managing all phases of litigation, including propounding and responding to discovery, performing legal research, drafting motions and briefs, taking and defending depositions and preparing for hearings, mediation and trial.
  • Firm offers a collegial environment, with an opportunity to develop trial skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough legal research using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support litigation cases.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather information and develop case strategies.
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to provide informed legal advice.

All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
