Job Description

A well-respected business litigation firm in Boca Raton is seeking a skilled Litigating Attorney with 3-7 years of experience in complex commercial disputes. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident litigator looking to join a high-performing team that handles a range of business torts, contract disputes, shareholder litigation, and real estate-related litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, from case strategy and pleadings to discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial.
• Draft, review, and argue motions including MSJ, MTD, and evidentiary motions.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, experts, and witnesses.
• Handle court appearances at hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Manage and oversee discovery, including drafting and responding to RFPs, RFAs, and interrogatories.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Maintain case deadlines and collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely filings and effective case preparation.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida Bar (active and in good standing).
• 3-7 years of litigation experience, preferably in a business or commercial litigation setting.
• Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
• Proven ability to manage cases independently and handle courtroom appearances.
• Experience with state and federal court rules and procedures in Florida.

Preferred:

• Trial experience or strong desire to gain courtroom/trial exposure.
• Familiarity with legal practice management tools (e.g., Clio, PracticePanther, Westlaw).

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • $100,000 - $120,000 DOE
