Forklift Driver / Material Handler

Northbrook, IL

$19.50 per hour

1st shift Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently
• Move materials throughout the warehouse utilizing a forklift
• Use RF scanners to locate, move, and track inventory
• Perform accurate material handling, loading, and unloading tasks
• Use basic math skills to verify counts and measurements
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs (heavy lifting required)
• Utilize computers for inventory entry and data tracking

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts required
• Proficient with RF scanners and basic computer systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math
• Experience using calipers is a plus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
