Job Title: AI Researcher

Salary: $300K + Equity

Location: Hybrid San Jose, CA

A well-funded Series A startup backed by top-tier VCs is hiring an AI Researcher to build next-generation generative AI models for text-to-image and text-to-video generation. Their platform serves millions of users and is scaling rapidly across creative and enterprise use cases. This is a deeply technical role focused on designing novel diffusion architectures and managing high-performance training pipelines across 100+ GPUs.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on researcher with a strong track record in training large-scale diffusion models, deep expertise in neural architecture design, and a solid background of publications or production-level deployments. You’ll be part of a fast-growing team of ML researchers and engineers operating at the frontier of generative AI. This role is ideal for someone excited to build foundational systems from scratch.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Vision, Graphics, or Machine Learning (preferred)
• Proven experience training text-to-image and/or text-to-video diffusion models
• Expert proficiency in Python and PyTorch
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement novel neural architectures
• Hands-on experience with multi-GPU training (8+ GPUs) and large-scale model deployments
• Deep understanding of generative AI theory, transformer-based models, and data strategy
• Thrives in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments
