Atlantic Tire Distributors is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our warehouses, offices, and surrounding grounds. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic who takes pride in creating a clean and organized work environment. This role is vital in supporting a productive and hygienic workplace for all employees.

Duties:

• Clean and maintain all warehouse floors by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.
• Sanitize and restock supplies in restrooms and break areas.
• Wipe down and disinfect surfaces including countertops, sinks, cabinets, microwaves, and refrigerators.
• Empty trash bins, replace liners, and clean receptacles as needed.
• Keep janitor closets clean, safe, and well-organized.
• Ensure proper use, storage, and labeling of cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in safe, operable condition.
• Notify manager when cleaning supplies need to be replenished.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks in bathrooms and break rooms.
• Collect and dispose of trash, debris, and pallet parts from inside and around the warehouse.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Team lifting is required for items exceeding 50lbs.
• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in a warehouse setting with moving equipment.
