Position: Technical Designer (Freelance/Temp to Hire)

Employment Type: Freelance (Temp to Hire)

Description:

• Assist with measuring garments and sending out fit comments to vendors.
• Requires construction and technical design experience with swim and/or activewear.
• Seeking someone who can lead fittings, create tech packs, work with overseas vendors
• Patternmaking experience is a plus.
• Apparel experience with items such as sweaters is a plus.
• Must be able to work in the office and attend fittings (approximately 4 days per week in the Costa Mesa office).

Additional Information:

• 5-8 yrs experience
• This is a temp to hire position.
• The candidate should have hands-on construction and technical design skills specific to swimwear and/or activewear.
• The role involves direct communication with vendors and participation in garment fittings on-site.
