Summary

The Supply Chain Planner leads the end-to-end supply chain operations at our Mooresville, NC site, with direct responsibility for Procurement, Order Management, and Production Planning. This role ensures timely and cost-effective material and information flow across the supply chain while maintaining alignment with our German headquarters on global and cross-site initiatives. The role plays a critical part in delivering reliable customer service, stable production, and continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead site-level supply chain functions (purchasing, planning, order management) to ensure smooth production and on-time delivery.
• Create and maintain reliable production plans aligned with demand, capacity, and inventory goals.
• Manage procurement activities with a focus on supplier reliability, cost efficiency, and compliance.
• Improve planning and order processes to reduce lead times, minimize waste, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate SAP data and process discipline to enable effective planning and transparency.
• Collaborate with global teams on sourcing, inventory, and supplier development strategies.
• Drive lean material flow and structured inventory management improvements.
• Act as the site’s main interface for global supply chain coordination and best practice sharing.

Requirements:

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in supply chain or production planning in manufacturing
• Hands-on SAP expertise
• Solid knowledge of end-to-end supply chain, planning methods, and material flows
• Strong initiative and structured, analytical problem-solving skills
• Excellent English communication, with German as a preferred additional language
• Experience in international and cross-cultural collaboration
