Our client, a leading global manufacturer of pipe extrusion equipment is seeking a Spare Parts Coordinator for its Alpharetta, GA office. This company specializes in extrusion lines for PVC, PO, multilayer, and PVC-O pipe production, and supports pipe producers in over 70 countries. With a strong focus on sustainability and resource efficiency, the company designs and supplies machinery and complete production lines used in manufacturing plastic pipes, contributing to improved access to clean water and sanitation worldwide.

Position Overview

The Spare Parts Coordinator will be responsible for managing spare parts inventory and consignment stock across customer locations in the United States. This role involves issuing quotes, processing orders, and handling the logistics of picking, packing, and shipping spare parts. The position reports to the Team Lead Spares based in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee spare parts warehouse operations to maintain accurate inventory and ensure timely fulfillment of customer needs.
• Handle customer inquiries via email, phone, and the customer portal, identifying necessary parts and confirming pricing and availability.
• Prepare and follow up on quotes within authorization limits and manage order confirmations.
• Pick, pack, and ship spare parts orders to U.S. customers while maintaining clear documentation.
• Monitor inventory using ERP system data and perform regular physical stock counts.
• Order materials from internal stock or external suppliers as needed.
• Process customer invoices and resolve any billing issues.
• Collaborate with Procurement, the international Spares Team, and Finance for pricing, lead times, and administrative coordination.
• Offer and sell spare parts within approved pricing margins and authorization levels.
• Prioritize daily tasks and manage ordering activities according to defined limits.
• Provide spare parts lists promptly and process project-related orders.
• Maintain accurate pricing on quotes and oversee sales order invoicing.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a warehouse or spare parts environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory and logistics.
• Excellent communication skills for effective customer service and teamwork.
• Attention to detail in quote preparation, invoicing, and order handling.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and proactive with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Professional, customer-focused approach with a positive attitude.
