Role Description

Local Chicago area fitness equipment manufacturer is seeking a Freelance Social Media Content Creator to enhance our brand's reach and exposure on social media.

We are looking for a creative, driven, and ambitious self-starter who can produce high-quality, attention-grabbing video and graphic content that resonates with our target audience.

If you enjoy creating viral-worthy videos and have a talent for producing captivating visuals, this role is perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities

· Create a consistent stream of original, high-quality content for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

· Film and edit short-form videos, photos, and graphics tailored for each platform.

· Keep up with emerging trends, sounds, and challenges on major social media platforms.

· Write engaging captions that enhance exposure, brand visibility, and, ultimately, sales.

· Collaborate with the existing Creative Team to uphold brand voice and sales focus.

· Adhere to a content calendar to ensure consistent messaging throughout our marketing funnel.

Qualifications

· A portfolio that showcases a strong eye for visual content and demonstrates the ability to create engaging social media assets is essential.

· Proficiency in video and photo editing software, such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, or Canva, is required.

· A deep understanding of the algorithms and content styles that perform well, particularly on TikTok and Instagram, is important.

· Candidates should be highly creative, able to work independently, and skilled in managing deadlines.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

· While experience in fitness equipment and physical training is preferred, it is not required.

· Experience in advertising.

· Strong writing and proofreading abilities are essential, along with excellent communication skills.

· A bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
