Position: Senior C++ Developer
12-month contract (w/ possible extension) starting August 11, 2025
The weekly hybrid schedule consists of two days on-site in Manassas, VA, and three days remote (starting on day one of position, August 11).

We’re supporting our financial messaging and server-side development partner, the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication in Manassas, VA!! Our client provides support to 12k+ domestic and international banks, along with private sector/commercial systems support for Coinbase, Robinhood and Spotify in addition to federal government support including Social Security Administration (SSA), the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Client may process a new Public Trust clearance through the Social Security Administration (SSA) after starting the role on August 11, 2025.
Client is seeking a Senior C++ Developer with financial industry background including 6+ years’ experience performing multithreading projects in Java, C++, Bash, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Unix in addition to knowledge in Oracle systems and digital Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates within an DevOps security Agile/SCRUM environment. The Senior C++ Developer would not be responsible managing other Developers, instead, the Senior C++ Developer would join Client’s Team of 10 other Developers providing hands-on enhancements of their server-side SWIFT application called Euro System Single Market Infrastructure Gateway (ESMIG) which is an efficient financial messaging service communicating with domestic, along with international banks and cryptocurrency exchanges for real-time consumer notifications of balances. Client is not seeking a Tester, they are seeking a true Developer who is able to perform integration of complex Unix network programs and attend client-facing meetings via MS Teams video calls to explain their analytical C++ process, conveying what they've done in code from start to finish. The Senior C++ Developer will perform scripts in Shell, Python, and handle unit test drivers to isolate written code for tests to determine if the code works. We’re seeking a strong Senior C++ Developer role can perform consistent and efficient multithreading tasks in Java and C++.
