Job Description
**Position Purpose:**
Trade Credit Analyst serves as a strategic and innovative partner focused on supporting business growth as part of a world-class controllership organization.
The Trade Credit Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day activities for Order to Cash (OTC) specifically related to our Trade Credit business. This role partners with internal teams and external business partners such as our customers and the Credit and Pro teams to help resolve discrepancies, solve problems, and constantly improve the accounting trade credit processes. This role needs foundational accounting skills in accounts receivable, cash, revenue, and reporting.
As an Analyst, you will work on task-based activities, including but not limited to cash application, invoice adjustments and refunds, reconciliations, and other month-end tasks within SAP, Blackline, and other third party applications. Additional responsibilities include supporting departmental and strategic projects, collaborating with project/product managers, and balancing your own workload. This role is expected to present continuous improvement recommendations to managers and leaders as well as execute on some of these improvements.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ 40% Planning, Forecasting, and Reporting - Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly financial reports. Utilize advanced financial modeling techniques to create detailed forecasts and provide variance analysis to explain key financial trends. Deliver clear, comprehensive reporting to senior leadership, highlighting critical insights and potential risks. Support month end close processes.
+ 30% Preparing and Delivering Insights - Develop and present financial analysis both visually and verbally to business leaders. Address projects and strategies, and answer questions through the lens of strong financial controllership. Provide actionable recommendations through a solid understanding of business operations and financial impacts resulting from decisions.
+ 20% Cross-Functional Collaboration - Sr. Financial Analysts work closely with business leaders up to and including VPs to understand their business operations. They may also partner with stakeholders across finance and accounting operations to develop strong line of sight to financial inputs and outputs so that business and financial stories can be explained.
+ 10% Project Based Analysis - Conduct detailed analyses for purposes of investment initiatives and capital allocation. Complete financial modeling to project 'what if' scenarios, and explain underlying causes of possible metric variations.

**Travel Requirements:**
+ Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
**Working Conditions:**
+ Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Must be 18 years of age or older
+ Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
+ Experience with SAP, Blackline, or other accounting software programs
+ Understanding of Cash, Accounts Receivable, Revenue, and other Generally
+ Accepted Accounting Principles and Generally Accepted Auditing StandardsOrder to Cash experience, including account reconciliation preparation and payment application processing
+ Ability to work independently and complete work on schedule within a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to collaborate as part of a team to complete operational tasks and projects as assigned
+ Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers
+ Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
+ Strong analytical, problem solving, and research skills
+ Ability to prepare and present clear, concise administrative, and financial reports

+ The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
