Job Title: Process Technician - CW
Location: Fremont, CA 94538 (ON SITE)
Pay range: $30 – 38/hr. on W2 (depending on experience/interview)
Job Type:2+ Year Contract role (Possible Temp to Hire)
Shift: 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM PST, Monday - Friday
Job Description:
Performs technical tests and experiments for process engineering within R&D.
Performs set up of processing equipment.
Monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators.
Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
Ideal candidate has undergrad work with Materials Science or Chemistry, communication skills are crucial for working with other technicians as well as engineers.
High level of Fine motor skills and attention to detail are required, we have varied experimental tasks that require very small tolerances.
Position is in the 3rd shift so it also requires a level of independence and self-starting that may not be as big of a contribution in other shifts. "
