Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fabrication Supervisor to lead our Press Brake/Bending Operations team. This role will oversee the daily operations of three advanced CNC press brake machines, each equipped with automatic tool changing systems, ensuring maximum efficiency, precision, and uptime.
Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate all press brake/bending operations in the fabrication department.
· Operate and troubleshoot advanced CNC press brake machines with auto-tool changers.
· Ensure timely and accurate production according to job specifications and quality standards.
· Manage and train a team of press brake operators and fabrication technicians.
· Monitor productivity and implement process improvements to optimize workflow and reduce downtime.
· Maintain safety, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance standards.
· Collaborate with engineering and quality control to resolve issues and meet project requirements.
Qualifications:
· 4+ years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, with strong press brake operation knowledge.
· Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Hands-on experience with CNC press brakes (preferably with auto tool-changing systems such as LVD, Trumpf, Amada, or similar).
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
· Strong understanding of material types, bend allowances, and tooling setups.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Working knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Science degree, technical diploma or certification in manufacturing technology, or related field.
· Familiarity with ERP systems and digital work instructions.
