Shift: Day Shift (8-hour shifts)
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
A healthcare organization in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a short-term contract assignment. The OT will evaluate, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to help patients improve functional abilities and quality of life.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct assessments to determine patients’ functional abilities and rehabilitation needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans to improve performance in daily living and occupational tasks.
Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, coordination, and independence.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation according to facility and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including PTs, speech therapists, nurses, and physicians.
Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home exercise plans, and adaptive techniques.
Participate in care planning, team meetings, and progress evaluations.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control procedures, and patient care guidelines.
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Texas.
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an acute, outpatient, or rehabilitation setting (preferred).
Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
