Position: Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist (Full-Time, Day Shift)

Location: Boca Raton, FL

Salary Range: $85,000 – $102,000 per year

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $5,000 based on experience

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Medical Laboratory Scientist to oversee daily lab operations, ensure accurate testing, and support quality patient care. This role combines hands-on testing with leadership responsibilities and coordination of clinical and administrative lab functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory tests on blood, tissue, and body fluids using automated and manual methods
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results
• Supervise lab staff and support team performance and development
• Serve as a technical resource for clinical and non-clinical staff
• Coordinate operations across hospital and off-site emergency center labs
• Maintain compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hospital or high-volume clinical lab setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
