Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering for a Contract to Hire job with a client in Chandler AZ 85226 (Onsite). We’re ideally looking for applicants to have experience in Manufacturing industries with knowledge of Aerospace/ Defence sectors.

Pay Range: $45-$50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

This is a 4/10 schedule, Monday through Thursday- 6 AM – 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

As a Manufacturing Engineer with Client, you will be tasked with analyzing, developing, implementing, and maintaining methods, manufacturing operation sequences, specifications, and equipment requirements for production/assembly of new and existing products. Assist with sustaining and released product in manufacturing, with focus on metrics such as efficiency, safety, quality, productivity, and cost.

Qualifications – External/internal:

• Experience in weld process development and validation as well as Design of Experiments.
• Knowledge of statistical software packages such as Minitab, and experience with Process Excellence tools such as LEAN and Six Sigma. Six Sigma or LEAN certification is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• BS in engineering; technical discipline or experience in lieu of degree
• 3+ years of experience in a technical and manufacturing environment with strong project management skills.
