AmLaw 100 Firm with Cravath level compensation. Highly effective programs for lateral integration. Per Legal Times (2023): "A Preferred Law Firm for In-house Lawyers". Member of The American Lawyer's "A List". Firm does PTAB/IPR and ITC work.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ph.D. and significant graduate level experience.
• Candidates must have prior prosecution experience and possess a USPTO bar registration number, or have already passed the Patent Bar and are awaiting admission.
• Broad training in the biological sciences is sought, with expertise in plant biology, biochemistry, genetics, chemistry, microbiology, entomology, immunology, or chemical engineering highly preferred.
• Research experience or training in RNA silencing, genome editing, nucleic acids chemistry, antibody design and production, microbiomes, quantitative genetics, process and reactor design, separation technologies, medicinal chemistry or small molecule synthesis is desirable.
• Excellent academic credentials and references as well as strong writing skills.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Ability to follow up on instructions independently.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organization, problem-solving and communications skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
• Exceptional client service both internal and external.
