Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and communicative Investor Operations Associate to join our team. As the Investor Operations Associate at TaliMar, you will be responsible for driving a comprehensive and proactive investor relations strategy. This includes cultivating relationships with high-net-worth individuals, effectively communicating corporate strategies and investment opportunities, and supporting compliance and execution of fundraising activities.

You’ll need to translate complex investment details into clear, engaging communications that align with the company’s institutional values and culture. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the acquisitions and asset management teams to fully understand the intricacies of real estate transactions, capital structures, and ongoing investment performance. Additionally, you’ll be tasked with organizing and optimizing the investor database, ensuring streamlined communication and customized touchpoints for thousands of contacts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Investor Onboarding: Collaborate with investors to facilitate the seamless onboarding of new accounts. Guide investors through the account setup process, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.

- Account Management: Address investor inquiries promptly and professionally, both over the phone and in person. Assist investors with updates and changes to their accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

- Reporting Support: Contribute to end-of-month and end-of-year reporting processes. Gather and organize data to generate comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all reporting activities.

- Third-Party Collaboration: Coordinate with third-party administrators to ensure the proper onboarding of accounts and accurate data entry. Monitor data integrity and collaborate to rectify any discrepancies or issues that arise.

- Communication Excellence: Communicate effectively with investors, both verbally and in writing. Address inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and clarity. Build and maintain positive relationships with investors to enhance overall satisfaction.

- Detail-Oriented Approach: Display meticulous attention to detail when handling investor accounts and documents. Perform thorough reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance at all stages of account management.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manage and enhance the investor CRM database, ensuring accurate organization and effective communication workflows.
  • Create compelling presentation materials for internal and external audiences to support fundraising efforts.
  • Develop and execute strategic investor outreach campaigns, including timely follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify, establish, and nurture relationships with new HNW individuals,
  • Assist senior leadership in maintaining and expanding relationships with existing and potential investors.
  • Work closely with asset management, finance, and accounting teams to prepare and distribute monthly reports for investors.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.

- 1-3 years of experience in real estate, private equity, finance, or banking, including internships or related roles.

- Experience interacting with institutional clients or HNW investors.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
