This position is located at the Happy Valley Fire Center in Shasta County.

Eligibility Information

To be eligible for appointment to this position, you must meet the minimum qualifications of the classification and you must meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

1. You must be on the current certified eligibility list for this classification;

2. You must be eligible to transfer;

3. You must be eligible to reinstate. 

Applicants that successfully pass the examination will be placed on an eligibility list. Obtaining list eligibility does not guarantee employment. Those interested in obtaining employment must apply and compete through the State recruitment process.

Working Conditions

May be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, or extended hours. 

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired.

Must pass a pre-employment Medical Evaluation and Tuberculosis t est.
