Location: Rochester, NY 14626

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Night Shift

Hours: 12 hrs/day | 3 days/week | 36 hrs/week

Shift Time:

7:00 PM – 7:00 AM 12 hrs/day | 3 days/week | 36 hrs/week
Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) 12 hrs/day | 4 days/week | 48 hrs/week

A skilled and experienced ER Registered Nurse is needed for a fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate will be able to respond quickly to critical situations, provide high-quality patient care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients in urgent and emergent conditions.

• Perform rapid assessments and triage for incoming emergency patients.

• Provide care for acute illnesses, trauma, critical injuries, and medical emergencies.

• Administer medications, start IVs, perform wound care, and support life-saving interventions.

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to carry out treatment plans.

• Operate and monitor medical equipment (EKG, cardiac monitors, ventilators, etc.).

• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses accurately and promptly.

• Maintain patient safety and follow all emergency department protocols.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York (or compact state eligible).

• Minimum 1–2 years of recent ER nursing experience required.

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (TNCC preferred).

• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and crisis management abilities.

• Ability to work independently on night shifts in a high-volume ER setting.
