Job Description

The Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and driving the smooth execution of electrical construction projects from inception to completion. This position requires managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to safety standards.

  1. Develop and manage project objectives, scope, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  2. Plan and schedule project timelines, track milestones, and manage aspects of the project, making adjustments as necessary.
  3. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  4. Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  5. Supervise the project's progress while proactively managing any changes in project scope, identifying potential crises, and devising contingency plans.
  6. Foster and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are effectively addressed.
  7. Conduct regular project meetings to update stakeholders on project status and resolve any issues that arise.
  8. Oversee and report on project documentation, including work orders, schedules, and financial accounts associated with the project.
  9. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, promoting an injury-free work environment.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, specifically in electrical or related industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field or equivalent field experience.
  • Proven experience in project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project, Viewpoint) and strong proficiency in Excel and other related applications.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, construction management, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, showcasing a high level of professionalism.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and schedules effectively.
  • Solid negotiation skills to manage contracts and resolve conflicts.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience directing project teams.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Benefits

Salary range for this position is $105,000-$155,000 annually. 

Opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus.
