Drafter

Position Type: Contract (1 year +)

Position Location: Ferndale, WA

Position Pay: $40/HR - $43/HR (Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Update drawings (P&ID's, ISO's) from Inspectors using AutoCAD
• Responsible for MOCs (Management of Change) to support Inspection
• General AutoCAD work for the Inspection Department
• Support PCMS Coordinator for AIMI (conversion project) clean up
• Field walk-downs and verification

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED a minimum; Higher Education a plus
• 2+ years of experience in Drafting in a similar capacity in similar industry (refining, petro-chemical, etc.)
• Knowledge of Drafting standards, methods, and practices
• Must be able to work safely in an industrial environment
• Must be able to perform field and piping walk downs
• Must be able to work both individually and on a team
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve potential design problems
• Technical Drawing: Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Software/Hardware Qualifications: AutoCAD, computer/PC skills, Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Experience with Falcon and SAP are a plus
