As we continue to grow our franchise network nationwide, we are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Franchise Operations to ensure our franchise partners succeed while upholding our brand’s high standards.

About the Role

The Director of Franchise Operations will be responsible for supporting and driving franchisee success, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining brand integrity. This role is essential in guiding new franchise owners through onboarding, overseeing compliance, and implementing operational initiatives that drive performance across the network. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who excels in process improvement, training, relationship management, and franchisee support.

Key ResponsibilitiesFranchisee Support & Performance Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for franchise owners, providing ongoing operational support and business coaching.
• Monitor franchisee performance, analyze key operational metrics, and develop improvement plans as needed.
• Facilitate regular check-ins, business reviews, and field visits to ensure franchisee success.
• Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Onboarding & Training

• Oversee the onboarding process for new franchisees, ensuring they receive comprehensive training and support.
• Develop and refine training programs, SOPs, and resources to enhance franchisee knowledge and performance.
• Conduct workshops, webinars, and in-person training sessions to align franchisees with company standards.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

• Ensure franchisees adhere to brand standards, policies, and operating procedures.
• Develop and implement operational guidelines to maintain consistency across locations.
• Conduct audits and site visits to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Address operational challenges and provide solutions to franchise owners.

Brand Standards & Relationship Management

• Foster strong relationships with franchisees, acting as a trusted advisor and business partner.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, finance) to support franchise operations and drive system-wide improvements.
• Uphold Spartan Floor Coatings’ reputation by ensuring each franchise maintains high-quality service and customer experience.

What We’re Looking For: Experience & Skills

• Proven Experience: 5+ years in franchise operations, business development, or multi-unit management.
• Operational Expertise: Strong understanding of franchise systems, compliance, and performance management.
• Relationship Builder: Ability to support and inspire franchisees while enforcing brand standards.
• Process-Oriented: Skilled in implementing training programs, operational procedures, and efficiency improvements.
• Analytical Mindset: Comfortable tracking KPIs, analyzing performance, and making data-driven decisions.
• Problem Solver: Adept at troubleshooting operational challenges and finding scalable solutions.
• Excellent Communicator: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Tech-Savvy: Experience with CRM tools, training platforms, and operational software.
• Willingness to Travel: Up to 50% for franchise visits, training sessions, and corporate meetings.
