This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at the Region IV Office in the Substance Abuse and Transition Services Department.
The mission of a Correctional Service Consultant is to develop, implement, and evaluate effective treatment and rehabilitative programs that support successful re-entry and transition for individuals. We are committed to coordinating efforts, managing volunteers, and fostering community partnerships to ensure comprehensive support. By adhering to established standards and continuously improving our practices, we aim to facilitate positive outcomes and promote public safety.
This position is not a telework position and is required to report to the FDC office in the area it serves.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
The Florida Department of Corrections requires all job applicants and volunteers to pass a Level 2 background check as per Chapter 435, Florida Statutes. This check must be completed before they can start working or volunteering.
