The Chief Manager is responsible for planning, administering, and directing all unit activities related to facility maintenance and engineering services, including Aramark and client financial accountability, and compliance with the standards established by Aramark, regulatory agencies and client.

Job Responsibilities

1. Extensive Engineering Experience
• Proven work history in engineering roles (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Marine, etc.)
• Hands-on technical expertise in maintaining and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
2. Leadership & Team Management
• 5-7 years of experience in supervisory or managerial roles.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams or departments.
3. Project Management
• Oversight of major maintenance, renovation, or construction projects.
• Budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with vendors and contractors.
4. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Programs
• Designing and implementing maintenance systems to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
5. Compliance & Safety Oversight
• Familiarity with local and international safety standards, regulations, and environmental compliance.
• Ensuring operations meet ISO, OSHA, or other relevant certifications.
6. Technical Reporting & Documentation
• Experience preparing technical reports, inspection logs, budget forecasts, and maintenance records.
7. Vendor & Stakeholder Communication
• Experience working with procurement teams, external suppliers, and internal leadership.
8. Industry-Specific Knowledge
• For marine : Knowledge of engine room operations, SOLAS, STCW, Class requirements.
• For hospitality : Experience maintaining HVAC, elevators, lighting, and other hotel systems.
• For manufacturing : Knowledge of plant utilities, automation systems, and lean manufacturing.

• Control over maintenance and capital expenditure budgets.
6. Adaptability & Continuous Learning
• Willingness to adopt new technologies and practices.
7. Attention to Detail
• Especially important when overseeing safety-critical systems and compliance.
8. Integrity & Accountability
• Trusted with critical infrastructure and team performance.
9. Technological Proficiency
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), AutoCAD, SCADA, etc.
