Job Description

Our client seeks a skilled and experienced Class A Heavy Equipment Truck Driver's to join their team at Cleveland. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate Class A Tractor Trailer combos. Travel will be required. This position is Union which includes hospitalization and a pension.

Truck Driver – Heavy Haul – CDL A

Responsibilities:

- Load/Unload/Transport construction equipment, materials, goods, and completed products to and from job sites and customer locations

- Follow all safety procedures and regulations during transport, loading, and unloading

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, including mileage and fuel consumption

- Inspect truck and equipment before and after use, ensuring proper maintenance and repair as needed

- Report any significant issues, delays, or accidents to management immediately

Requirements:

- 21 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

- Valid CDL license with Class A or Class B certification - Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents - Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for hauling

equipment and materials - Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and nights as needed - Strong communications skills and ability to work well independently or as part of a team

Salary: The salary for this position will depend on qualifications and experience. We offer competitive salaries, benefits and opportunities for the advancement of qualified candidates.

Union Rates:

Pay Rate Range: $30 - $35 per hour

Fringe Package: $11.00 - $12.00

Union book and Union dues required.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week average
