A prestigious law firm is seeking a Benefits & Wellness Assistant to support its dynamic and inclusive workplace. Who You Are

• You bring a bachelor’s degree

• You’ve spent 1–2 years supporting benefits, ideally in a professional services setting

• You’re comfortable navigating HRIS platforms like UKG or similar systems

• You have a knack for organizing data, managing records, and keeping things running smoothly

• You’re highly skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook

• You communicate clearly, manage your time well, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

• You handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

• You’re detail-oriented, self-motivated, and flexible when it comes to working overtime

What You’ll Do

• Support employees and their families with questions about health, retirement and wellness programs

• Help coordinate annual enrollment and guide staff through the process

• Prepare documentation for terminations, COBRA, and retirement transitions

• Track eligibility for retirement plans and send timely reminders for enrollment and beneficiary updates

• Process invoices and benefit-related transactions using Chrome River and UKG

• Assist with leave of absence paperwork and track disability, FMLA, and other life events

• Update payroll systems with benefit changes, contributions, and loan details

• Enter wire transfers and support payroll-related benefit updates

• Serve as a backup to the Senior Benefits Specialist

• Employees feel informed and supported when navigating benefits and wellness offerings

• Enrollment periods run smoothly with minimal disruption or confusion

• Leave tracking and payroll updates are accurate and timely

• Wellness events are well-organized and positively received by staff

• Communication with vendors and internal teams is clear and proactive

• Records and reports are maintained with precision and confidentiality

Salary Range: $65,000 – 70,000 annually, based on experience

Location: Hybrid
