Job Title: Assembly Supervisor

Location: Fayetteville, TN

Shift: 2nd Shift | 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assembly Supervisor to lead second-shift operations at our Fayetteville, TN facility. This role is responsible for supervising production activities and supporting frontline staff in achieving company goals related to Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of production staff.
• Set clear expectations, monitor progress, and evaluate job results.
• Ensure all employees follow safety procedures and report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions.
• Monitor production equipment to ensure proper function and verify poka-yokes are operational. Report any malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
• Develop a full understanding of exhaust production processes to effectively train operators and team leads.
• Analyze staffing needs and align resources to meet production schedules within budgetary constraints.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, product quality, and equipment performance.
• Oversee daily production floor activities and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting high morale and teamwork.
• Participate in and lead initiatives involving 5S, Quality, Safety, Delivery, Cost Reduction, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Perform additional duties and projects as needed to support operational objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.
• Technical aptitude and understanding of stamping, automation, and manufacturing applications.
